Liger Leadership Academy students are English Language Learners. They have been immersed in English for over five years but are still developing grammar and fluency. My name is Sopheak, I was born and raised in Kampong Cham Province in Cambodia. Since I was little, I was obsessed with reading and learning. I am a shy girl who would sometimes appear unapproachable, arrogant and secretive. Despite my flaws appearance I tend to be helpful, friendly, independent, and have a great sense of humor, and impassioned in pursuing my dream. In the past few years, I’ve gone through countless experiences that exposed me to various job sectors and activities globally. Simultaneously, I’ve grown a strong interest for Model United Nation (MUN), public speaking, fictional writing, anthropology, and social psychology. As a change agent, I believe that ones could make changes regardless of one’s age. I am an ordinary girl, who like to read funny memes and fictional stories, watch movies, and enjoy my life, yet, I have prodigious dream ahead of me. I am going to pursue it and traveling on the path, because success is a journey not a destination – Ben Sweetland.
